Missionary Society of St Thomas the Apostle is the Registered Non-Governmental Organization in the United Republic of Tanzania in the East Africa. MST is established in Africa for the holistic development of the under privileged people of Africa.


    Missionary Society of St Thomas the Apostle Tanzania was begun in 2007 by Missionary Society – MST from India, the envisioned of living the values of Jesus and sharing the same with people of all faiths and cultures, anywhere in the world, in line with mission ad gentes, for establishing a more harmonious society. MST Tanzania is organizing its different activities in Madale in Dar Es Salaam, Bunda in Mara Region and Chengena in Ruvuma Region. MST Tanzania is organizing the pastoral and social welfare programs for the underprivileged poor people of the region while carrying out direct preaching of the Gospel, medical care by the dispensary and other social welfare programs. MST fathers in Chengena have different Socio – Cultural, Economic and health care programmes for the upliftment of the underprivileged people here in Namtumbo District, like projects for the specially abled, poverty alleviation programmes, hygiene, medical care programmes also for those affected STD, youth programmes etc. MST is engaged in social development program here in Ruvuma since 2006.
